• PROMOTE QUALITY EDUCATION IN GENERAL AND TECHNICAL EDUCATION IN PARTICULAR TO THE STUDENT’S COMMUNITY FROM RURAL/URBAN AREAS AND ALSO EMPOWERING GIRLS THEREBY ENHANCING THE STATUS, EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES AND SOCIAL STANDING.

OBJECTIVES:

• To impart the best technical education to the students predominantly enrolling from rural background and equip to face the challenges in their work field at middle level and supervisory management in addition to instill confidence, extend assistance financially or otherwise in view of a poor economic background from which they are seeking higher education in this field who otherwise will drop out post matriculation or take-up conventional degree courses which are of less relevance in today’s developing economy in the country in general and the state of Karnataka in particular.
• The status at entry level to an institution of polytechnic level offering three years diploma courses in various disciplines is a pass in SSC or matriculation examination scoring a minimum of 35% marks in Science and Mathematics.
• Achieve standards set by AICTE ,Department of Technical Education and Board of technical examination to impart quality in diploma technical education for surrounding rural students of the polytechnic.
• Make the students strong in technical aspects to fit into current industrial needs of the state as well as country through Outcome based education (OBE) syllabus set by DTE/BTE.
